    Authentic Mauritian Recipes

Mauritian cuisine encompasses a wide variety of dishes of predominantly Indian and Chinese origins with a uniquely Mauritian twist. This means that these dishes and their respective names not only went through a French and Créole transformation, but also beautifully intermingled with these cuisines.

Make your very own Mauritian curry powder and achard masala paste. These are at the base of many of our Indian recipes so be sure to have them handy. Next, try your hand at our beloved achard légumes.
